Operating across the network, our team are focused on individual support required during transition and believe that a key ingredient to success is maintaining a strong communication link between clients, participants and their families.

As the Queensland NDIS rollout is fast approaching, you may soon be contacted by a Local Area Coordinator ‘LAC’ from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to book your ‘My First Plan’ planning meeting. This meeting is a fantastic opportunity to communicate your needs and to make the most of your NDIS funding to meet your individual needs and goals.
DJ Health is proud to support the upcoming annual TAC-Q (Teenage Adventure Camps Queensland) at the FLEAYS Wildlife Park.
TAC-Q is a non-profit, volunteer registered charity that holds week long Adventure Camps on the Gold Coast for children with life-threatening illnesses such as Leukaemia, Muscular Dystrophy and Cystic Fibrosis. These children take part in activities they would normally only dream of such as parasailing, indoor rock climbing, Harley Davidson rides, Sea World, Joy Flights, karaoke & even dinner at Draculas! As well as giving their parents a much needed break.
As the NDIS continues to roll out, we are excited to see more and more wonderful options become available to our participants. We’d like to share with you the artistic adventures of Kristy Parry from Ocean Shores, whose new NDIS plan allows her extra hours to expand her creative interests.
The NDIS scheme is being progressively implemented across Australia, and will be fully rolled out by July 2019. For the Participants and Families that have already received their NDIS plan, the following information may be useful if you are about to negotiate a Service Agreement.
This September, DJ Health Services and ACCnet21 joined forces and hosted a number of fundraising morning teas in order to raise awareness and funds for the powerful mental health campaign, RU OK?
RU OK is a wonderful national initiative that invites us all to have healthy conversations, outreaching to friends, family and colleagues who may be under risk of suicide or suffering from depression.
